Donald Fagen の「Maxine」を耳コピして打ち込んでみました。カラオケバージョンで、カールトンも割愛しております。MIDI音源は一昔前の機材なのでしょぼいです。
ピアノはGreg Phillinganes、イントロのコード進行は本編とあまり関係ないのですがなぜかハマってますね（装飾音符は表記していません）
ドナルド・フェイゲンのボーカルはリード含め4声、ところどころ補強のため最大5声でハモっているようでした。ブレッカーのソロは何度聴いても痺れますね。
打ち込みではなかなかしっくりする音源がなかったので最終的にSC-88Proのレガート音色を使用したと思います。管楽器のレガートは打ち込みにおける鬼門の一つですが、ベンドで丁寧に音程つけたりする必要があるようです。（最近の物理モデルソフトシンセはどの程度の精度かよくわかりませんが・・・）
